The ST ECON is made of fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene. It is the low cost alternative to the solid stainless steel systems. The ST ECON sports the same water cleansing performance in a less expensive package. The valve body is made of molded polypropylene rather than nickel-plated brass. This model is often used as a component on problem water applications because of its lower cost and large capacity.
